I love how your words taste,
They are sweet
And rich,
I savor every letter,
Simple,
Yet they keep me full,
Each sentence satisfies my appetite
And I feel better,
With everything you write,
Stanza after stanza,
It sets my taste buds alight,
My palate bursting with delight,
No matter how many lines,
Free verse
Or rhymed,
Poetry
Or prose,
A story from imagination
Or a real life memory,
Full of happiness
Or full of woes,
Whatever it may be,
I crave your words to feed my heart
And mind
And soul,
For they are all so very hungry
And your words always leave me less empty,
I love how your words taste,
Even if they are,
Never written for me
