As she blinked,
Tickling his soft skin,
Almost as if teasing him,
Even more than she did.
Her eyelashes framed her icy blue eyes,
Which he was so mesmerized by,
But anyone would tell you
Falling for her would be unwise.
Her eyelashes left black streaks down her face
Whenever she cried and cried,
And he had no idea why
And would wonder if he had made a mistake.
But everyone knew,
